garengongko - Mobile games are a perfect way to pass the time, whether you want to soothe boredom or challenge your brain. From meditative puzzles to royal conquests, there are endless ways to engage your brain while you're on the go.
Before Fortnite dominated the battle royale scene, Pokemon GO had everyone running around with their phones looking for critters. And even though the craze ended, it still has some serious replay value.
1. Angry Birds
As one of the first truly global mobile games, Angry Birds proved that bite-sized, pick-up-and-play gameplay can be just as addictive as anything. With simple mechanics and a great sense of humor, the game’s physics engine made it an instant hit.
Animated movies based on video games are notoriously bad, but the Angry Birds Movie is surprisingly decent. Despite a few misses, the silliness works well, especially in its final act when the birds unleash their rage against those pesky pigs.
2. Temple Run
Temple Run is one of the most addictive mobile games ever made. It is a fast-paced endless runner that allows you to act out your imperialist fantasy of stealing a golden idol from a remote foreign civilization.
Swipe to turn, jump and slide your way past deadly traps, calamitous cliffs, perilous piers and ancient temple walls as you stay just one step ahead of the dastardly demon monkeys. It is the perfect blend of thrilling action and timeless reflex gameplay.
3. Fortnite
While it’s not quite the super-addictive time killer that Temple Run is, Fortnite is still innately fun and set the staple for the battle royale sub-genre. The excitement of earning a victorious last-man standing status is something that’s hard to duplicate.
Plus, the way that Epic Games continually tweaks the gameplay with seasons and event updates keeps the game fresh. Although some of the crossovers (such as Ryu with a gun) cause audible groans from fans, most are solid additions.
4. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (abbreviated PUBG) is a battle royale game by South Korean company Bluehole. It was first released in 2017 as an early access title for Xbox One, using the console’s Game Preview program.
Players skydive into a map of gigantic proportions, where they must scavenge weapons and gear from buildings, sheds, and warehouses. The available playable area shrinks as the match progresses, forcing players to come into contact with other competitors. The game became hugely popular and attracted a large audience of e-sports competitors.
5. PUBG MOBILE
PUBG MOBILE brings the popular battle royale game to your phone. Just like its console and PC brethren, you drop on an island with 99 other players and try to be the last person standing.
While PUBG Mobile is technically impressive, the controls make it less of a tense experience than the PC version. For example, it’s hard to hit people consistently with a sniper rifle because of the imprecise controls.
This game is an amazing example of how the gaming industry reimagines its big titles for mobile.
6. Call of Duty
The Call of Duty series has been a staple in the gaming world for years. The first-person shooter franchise has been developed by multiple studios and spawned multiple spin-offs.
From the developers of Genshin Impact comes another incredible looking mobile game. Honkai: Star Rail features a beautiful anime art style and an intuitive yet impossibly deep gacha turn-based RPG.
Riot Games’ League of Legends is the king of MOBAs. It perfectly maps the 5v5 battles of the PC game to mobile devices.
7. League of Legends
League of Legends is the global champion in multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games. While it wasn’t the first MOBA, it stoked the fire of the genre and helped launch esports.
It’s also free to play and features a ton of Champions to try out. The game blends elements of role playing and strategy to create a complex, but accessible gameplay experience. It is an intensely fun and addictive slice of gaming pleasure.
8. Wild Rift
Riot Games has done a great job bringing the mega-popular League of Legends franchise to mobile devices. Its streamlined game modes and rebalanced champions make this mobile version easier to play for newcomers and feels great during long gaming sessions.
Unlike most other MOBAs that descend from mods, this one doesn’t have a generic fantasy hodgepodge art style. Its stunning visual quality elevates the game into a visually spectacular spectacle. It’s hard to resist playing this game.
